In this session, Jaap will take you on a tour of PowerShell as a scripting language. Released almost 12 years ago, it would seem there is not a whole lot left to discover.
Taking that as a challenge, let’s dive into the obscure and see if we can find new tricks that are either useful or just plain silly. Discover methods of doing things faster and with few lines of code.
Tricks and gotcha’s aside, we will look at what PowerShell performance tweaks we can implement to run our scripts quicker or with lower memory usage / CPU usage.
You will walk out of this session with a firmer handle on how you can script for specific performance considerations and test your assumptions.
